Jennie, the founder of NYJDI, has a wonderful sensibility and is dedicated to nurturing talent in the jewelry industry with love and passion. My first course was jewelry design using Procreate. It was my first time designing with Procreate, but the instructor, Prachi, generously shared the skills and knowledge she had cultivated throughout her career. As some of you may know, Procreate has a wide range of functions and is complex to operate. While mastering it greatly expands the possibilities of design, learning it can sometimes be difficult. Even though Prachi taught me so much within the limited time, there were times I was confused. I am truly grateful that Prachi always approached me with kindness and patience, and guided me to understanding. Although I couldn't operate the software at all when the 8-week course began, by the time the class ended, I had acquired solid basic skills and expressive abilities. I am very happy about that. My jewelry design journey has just begun, but with the knowledge, skills, and even greater passion I gained at NYJDI, I want to continue challenging myself. I also plan to take other courses. Ive been a long time student at NYJDI and have taken multiple courses they have to offer. Both the instructors Jenine and Boris are extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of jewelry.
